Dr. Mathias Martinez Coronel is an accomplished general dentist with more than 20 years of national and international clinical, surgical, and academic experience. Throughout his career, he has performed thousands of surgical procedures and developed extensive experience in implant dentistry, oral surgery, and complex dental care.
Dr. Martinez completed a Fellowship and Postdoctoral Dental Education and Residency Training Program at the University of Rochester in New York, where he also served as a teaching assistant in oral surgery for AEGD and GPR residency programs.
His international training includes an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at UNAM in Mexico, where he served as Chief Resident. This was international postgraduate training and not an ADA-accredited U.S. specialty program. He also completed a senior oral surgery rotation at NYU–Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
Prior to relocating to the United States, Dr. Martinez served as an Associate Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar and spent more than 10 years as an Associate Professor at Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Magna Cum Laude, from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela and is National Dental Board Certified.
Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association (FDA), New York State Dental Association – Seventh District, and is a Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS).

Mariana Ajjam De Martinez
Mariana serves as Executive Director of Florida Dental Implants DDS, overseeing the practice’s strategic planning, operations, patient experience, and organizational growth. With a background in Civil Engineering and experience in project management and process optimization, Mariana brings a detail-oriented and analytical approach to managing daily operations.
She is highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, leveraging technology to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support effective practice management. Dedicated to excellence, Mariana works closely with the clinical team to ensure every patient receives exceptional service in a welcoming and efficient environment.
